Hello 👋 my name is Nathan and I am a UX engineer. My passion for user experience combined with my skills in development make for a strong foundation to create digital assets. I would describe myself as a UX engineer with a passion for data-driven environments. I believe data holds the key in making informed decisions in understanding the user’s needs and finding a fitting solution to create a better experience. Having started as graphic designer I now follow a path towards a more digital future as this holds a healthy challenge to keep me intrigued.

Creating a log-in feature is always alot of work. But Firebase offers an easy solution; Firebase Authentication. In this article I walk through the basics of creating such a log-in feature.

Dungeons and Dragons

I created a Dungeons and Dragons playground that let's players update their position on a map realtime. Also they are able to through the dice and chat with eachother.

Browser Technologies

This project is all about testing technologies in different browsers. I build a photo album with a drag and drop and geolocation feature, wich where tested thoroughly in different browsers on different devices.

Progressive Movie Web App

This project is version 2 of the movie web app. I refactored it to an installable progressive web app with a service worker that caches some of the webpages.

In this project I learned how to fetch data from an API and render the data in the dom. Also I looked at routing and how to refactor my code.
